Age Limits:
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 28 years
- Age Relaxation: Additional relaxation in age limits will be granted as per the rules specified by the Physical Research Laboratory (PRL) for Assistant and Junior Personal Assistant (JPA) Recruitment. Fee Charges:
- Candidates falling under the General, OBC, and EWS categories are required to submit an examination fee of INR 500, while those in the SC/ST and PH categories, as well as all female candidates irrespective of category, will also need to pay INR 500. The payment can be made through various online modes, including Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.
Refund Policy:
A noteworthy feature of the examination fee process is the provision for refund after the Stage I Exam. However, the refund amount varies based on the category of the candidate.
- General / OBC / EWS Refund: Candidates falling under the General, OBC, and EWS categories are eligible for a refund of INR 400 after successfully completing Stage I of the examination.
- SC / ST / Female / EXs Refund: Candidates belonging to the SC, ST, Female, and EXs categories will receive a full refund of INR 500 after the completion of Stage I.
PRL Assistant and JPA Eligibility:-
- Assistant (10 Posts):
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 60% marks from any recognized university in India. Additionally, proficiency in computer usage is required for this position.
- Junior Personal Assistant (6 Posts):
Candidates applying for the Junior Personal Assistant position should have a Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 60% marks from any recognized university in India. Alternatively, candidates can have a Diploma in Commercial/Secretarial Practice with 60% marks, along with one year of experience as a Steno Typist/Stenographer. Proficiency in English Stenography at 60 words per minute and a demonstrated ability to use computers are essential for this role.
